Static-Control FIBC Explained: Type C, Type D and Electrostatic Safety in Powder Handling
Release time:2024-05-17
Static-control FIBCs help manage electrostatic charge during powder filling and discharge, but Type C and Type D use different control methods. Type C requires a verified ground connection during use; Type D is designed to dissipate charge without a direct bag-to-ground connection. Selection must be based on the material, dust or vapor hazard, process conditions, liner, equipment and operating environment—not on the bag type alone.
